HAND CHECKED CARDS INTO TOURNAMENT OFFICE IMMEDIATELY YOUR GAME HAS FINISHED.

 

The presentation will take place on the green immediately after the last game.
All Counties to line up on the green. then all  players walk round  to meet the President.

If you are playing 2 none officials, they must not play on the same rink.

 


E.B.F. Rules with the following exceptions

The Score Cards will show the TIME of each Game. Rink number and the opposing County.

A representative from each County is responsible for entering the names of the 6 players on to the cards issued for each game.

Complete your cards with the names of your opposition before your game commences.

a. Each will play 4 x 1 hour matches, the draw for rinks and times being made previously.

b. The names of the 6 players will be entered on the scorecards for each game, the combination of players playing the first game remains the same throughout the tournament, except that one substitute may be permitted for illness or injury. Any teams returning to the same rinks must ensure that their triples do not play on the same rink as previously played. The team may include 2 players registered to the EWBA who are not executives or officials but they can not be on the same team.( Executives and Officials take priority over these players.)

One toss of coin covers both rinks.

c. All games will start on the bell and no jacks shall be cast after the 55 minute bell is sounded. A maximum of 11 ends will be played.

d. Only one shot will be scored on the first end of each game as no trial ends will be allowed.

e. If the jack is cast incorrectly, i.e. out of the rink, in the ditch or fails to meet the minimum cast, the opposing team will place the jack and the mat at their discretion but the original lead will bowl first.

f. If the jack is knocked out of rink during an end the end will be replayed from the end where most bowls are positioned. If an end is killed after the 55 minute bell has sounded the end will not be replayed.

g. One point will be awarded to each rink for a win ½ point for a draw. Two points will be awarded to the team for an aggregate shots win, one point for a draw. In the event of a team withdrawing at late notice, not allowing for a redraw to be made, teams having no game will be awarded a win on each rink and a score of 12 – 6 per rink.

h. The team with the highest points will be declared the winners. In the event of two or more teams finishing on equal points the team with the greater margin of shots will be the winner, if shot difference is equal the team with most shots for will be the winner, and if still equal the team with the most ends won will be the winner.

i. No player will be allowed to visit the head.

After each game is completed, please ensure that your result tallies with your opposition, then RETURN the 2 CARDS, duly signed immediately to the Tournament Office.
